Get Your Ice Cream!

We got asked to help pass out ice cream for Leatherby's at the Taylorsville Days parade. Addison was SO excited! The night before, for her bedtime story I told her about the parades I had been in as little league cheerleader and she got even more pumped up. When we woke her up Saturday morning she jumped out of bed and insisted on wearing a skirt so she could look like a cheerleader.

Addison rode in the truck for the first half and "threw" candy to the crowd (or at least tried to - hehehe). Then we let her come out and run ice cream cups to the crowd. She was so cute! She took her job very seriously. It was fun to see who she decided to give the ice cream to. Sometimes it was kids and sometimes it was adults. Afterwards I asked her how she chose and she said she looked for someone sitting quietly and waiting patiently. HAHA! I love it!

We even got to get our picture with Scoopy!

Walking in a parade definitely goes on our list of accomplishments for our Year of Adventure!
