Isaiah

If I had to describe my husband in one word it would be driven. Isaiah has always focused on being the best at whatever he has done in life. That is quite a task to take on when you are a Husband-Father-Business Owner-Friend-and Young Men's President, but Isaiah puts his heart and soul into all these roles and does a mighty fine job too.

 

Isaiah loves doing anything active. He plays basketball (and not so secretly wishes he played in the NBA). He is one of the best natural runners I've ever seen. If it wasn't for some stubborn foot problems would be running marathons. He's never let a little pain set him back though, and ran 8 minute miles up a steep mountain for 8 miles during Ragnar (it was pretty impressive). His weekly stress relief is a round of golf with his work buddies. In our childless days he owned a motorcycle and loved going on motorcycle trips. He's rode thousands of miles and seen a good part of the western US from his bike.


It was amazing to see the change in Isaiah when he became a father. He loves Addison so much and loves teaching her how to do things. I'm always amazed at the ways he finds to let her be apart of what he is working on. Addison loves it too! Their other favorite thing to do is rough house. He taught her the finer points of pillow fights and doing "steam roller" when she was 2.

{The Boring Stuff}
Isaiah is 32 years old and the youngest of 6 kids. He has a degree in Communications. If you ask Addison he has the coolest job in the world. He is part owner of an ice cream restaurant and she says her daddy scoops ice cream and makes people happy every day.

His family all lives nearby. We have fun hanging out with them at our monthly get togethers and Addison loves running wild with her 5 cousins. Being the youngest of 4 brothers and 1 sister meant he got picked on a lot. He in turn likes to pick on Addison and me since he never had younger siblings to bug.
